Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Gumla, established on 17th October 2023, is a significant step toward empowering women through higher education in the region. The college was inaugurated by the then Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Ajit Kumar Sinha. Situated in a remote and tribal-dominated district of Jharkhand, the institution is a constituent unit of Ranchi University, Ranchi. The college is committed to promoting not only academic excellence but also the holistic development of students. It strives to develop logical and critical thinking among students, encouraging them to move beyond rote learning and focus on true understanding and knowledge.
